Excellent post Fallon. Good advice. Reading is food for writers. A varied diet helps you to be a good reader but not always a good writer. Limited scope allows for perfection within a genre. Widely read and diverse makes you a better general writer but one that is flighty. I suppose the point I wish to make is... Remember the saying about doctors. " GP's know less and less about more and more until they know nothing about everything whereas specialists, become more and more focused, about less and less until they know everything about nothing.

I love Kim Gordon’s memoir!! You might want to listen to the audiobook too—she narrates it herself! Highly Recommend!
