The Elite Package
A micro-creepy in 80 words
She awoke perfected, enhanced in every way from instinct to musculature to vision, with no recollection of who she was — not even her name — or for what reason she’d undergone a conditioning (elite package, apparently) in the first place, but she was acutely aware of the man who’d been following her since she left the facility, tracing her steps through the city, stalking her like prey in the ruined night, smelling of the sweet flesh for which she was ravenous.
The piddly bits . . .
For I, too, am a human being who needs to pay bills and feed the family.
